top 8 largest private jets in the world

1. Drake’s Private Boeing 767-200

Canadian rapper Drake got his own Boeing 767-200ER in early 2019. Well, not exactly Drake’s. Instead, it is owned by the Ontario company Cargojet.

The flight is free advertising for the airline, but why not, if you have a flight or two to save. Who pays for the fuel is still unclear.

Meanwhile, that’s not to say the plane isn’t well-done in style, with velor sofas rather than hard chairs, full carpet floors, gold and wood surfaces, well-lit mirrored walls, lounges and wardrobes.

Introduced to Mid East Jet in October 1996, registration N767CJ is commonly referred to as Air Drake.

2. Roman Abramovich’s Boeing 787-8

Chelsea boss and Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich’s Boeing 767-33AER plane is nicknamed “The Bandit” because of the distinctive black stripe that runs around the cockpit window.

Abramovich picked up the plane, originally intended for Hawaiian Airlines which ended up canceling the order, in 2004.

It would have been equipped with a restaurant that could accommodate 30 people, a full kitchen, and a bathroom with jewelry. In addition, it has the same anti-ballistic missile system as the American presidential plane Air Force One.

Roman Abramovich’s “Bandit” has the same anti-ballistic system as Air Force One.
However, last year Abramovich changed the plane to Boeing 787-8. It has been modified to accommodate 50 special guests.

The seven-year-old, $350 million jet went to Moscow on December 19, 2021 with the registration P4-BDL to begin its service in the billions.

3. Alisher Usmanov’s Airbus A340

The largest private jet in the Russian Federation is not owned by Vladimir Putin, who with his unlimited presidential powers flies the Ilyushin Il-96 very much. Instead, it belonged to Alisher Bourkanovitch Usmanov, who was from Uzbek.

The oligarch’s Airbus A340-400 is 13 years old. Since February this year, Margaux Aviation has operated Global Jet Luxembourg under its own name after 12 years, formerly known as Silver Arrows.

Usmanov acquired the four engines in 2012 after selling Facebook shares for $1.4 billion.

The plane was named after Usmanov’s father and carried the inscription “Burkhan” on the front part of the fuselage. The owner is said to have customized the plane to reach a price tag of US$450 million.

The interior features luxurious VIP extravaganzas, such as a dining area, king beds and luxurious leather seats.

Meanwhile, like a Russian oligarch, Usmanov’s A340 also has a hotel section.

At a distance of 7,300 NM (13,400 km), you can go from Moscow to Lima or Los Angeles.

4. President Al Waleed bin Talal Private 747-400

The second largest private jet in the world, the Boeing 747-400, is owned by Prince Al Waleed bin Talal. Number 45 on the Forbes list of the richest people in the world, the Saudi king and investor has shares in companies in the United States, Europe and the Middle East.

When the executive bought the plane in 2003, it still had 400 passenger seats.

These things have been torn down for a dining room for 14 people, two luxurious bedrooms, and, why, a golden throne in the the middle of the house.

The flight will be operated by 11 flight attendants.

5. VIP Secret of Joseph Lau’s 747-8

The world’s largest private jet is owned by Hong Kong-based businessman Joseph Lau. It is worth $367 million. The longest and second largest commercial airliner ever built has an interior of 445 meters and this Lau model connects its two levels by a circular staircase.

Boeing’s original cost was $153 million. Lau then added an adjustment for another $214 million.

While interior details are being kept under wraps, the 747-8 is said to have spacious office space, multiple guest bedrooms, a loft, and an overhead gym.

Good exercise is better than walking down the street to beat the traffic on a long transpacific flight to combat jet lag.

6. Mark Cuban

Serving as the team plane for the Dallas Mavericks, this beautiful private plane was purchased in 1999. It was recorded as one of the largest online transactions at the time for $144.1 million.

Features such as extra legroom and long range from Beijing to New York make a spacious private plane to fly.

7. Mukesh Ambani

With a space of 1000 square feet, this private jet is owned by one of India’s richest men – Mukesh Ambani.

To work in the plane, executive lounges have been provided in the plane, as well as well-appointed dining rooms, well-designed living areas, private rooms and fully furnished rooms.

8. Vijay Mallaya

With a 13-foot-wide fuselage and impressive technology, this private jet is one of the most private jets on the list. It has a maximum cruise speed of 514 kilometers per hour.

It is spacious enough to carry 30 passengers.

Things like a nice dining area, a full bar, a turbojet-powered pylon wing, make this one of the nicest airplanes on the list.
