How to Move Partition Data to SSD from HDD on windows 10 with a third party tool – 2 steps

This article is about how to Move Partition Data to SSD from HDD on Windows 10 with a third party tool. When there is such a problem, you can delete the partition data on the disk partition to free up space. But this does not solve the problem completely.

To ensure the integrity and use of data and to speed up your computer, it is better to add a larger SSD to your computer because SSD makes the computer work more efficiently and effectively smooth, and transfer data from the partition to the SSD.

Also, instead of installing Windows OS on SSD, move partition data to SSD using Windows clone software without reinstalling the system or losing data.

The Cloner allows you to copy/move partition data to a new SSD from a hard drive in the shortest possible time.

More importantly, this software supports partition data backup as a file and restoring it to SSD.

Let’s see how it works!

Advice:

After installing disk management, select MBR or GPT format for your SSD drive. Here I chose MBR format. During the process of moving data to SSD, the service will configure the destination drive. You’d better recover first. Make sure the drive hole is larger than the source drive hole.

Preparation:

  1. One SSD/HDD (install it on your PC)
  2. SATA cable
  3. Third Party Cloner software
