1. Remove the background color from the image
Step 1: Open the PowerPoint presentation and go to the slide with the image you want to add a background to.
Step 2: Click on the image you want to remove and select Remove Background.

Step 3: PowerPoint turns the image pink to show the parts it considers background.
You can customize the part of the saved and removed image and make it stand out.
Use the Mark area to keep and Mark area to remove buttons to click on the part of the photo that should be kept or removed.
In PowerPoint for Mac, use items to keep or items to delete.

2. Highlight the background of the image
To make a single color in the photo appear more quickly, use Mode > Color > Set Rotation instead of clicking on any color in the photo.

3. Save edited photos as needed
Once you’re done, you can right-click the image and click Save as Image to save the newly scanned image to a separate file.

Backtracking is not available for vector graphics files, such as Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), Adobe Illustrator Graphics (AI), Windows Metafile Format (WMF), and Vector Drawing File (DRW).
