distilled white wine contains acetic acid which cuts soap scum; However, acid can damage unsealed natural stone.

Do not use this method around the shower.

Mix a cleaning solution:

For daily or weekly cleaning, mix two parts of distilled white wine and two parts of distilled water in a spray bottle.

Add a quarter of a teaspoon of dish soap to help the solution stick to the glass.

Glass Spray:

Starting at the top of the glass door or wall, generously spray the solution into the glass.

Let the solution sit for at least five minutes to begin removing the soap scum. If you use this solution after every shower when the glass is wet, there is no need to wait.

Wipe solution:

How to clean a shower door with lemon juice

Lemon juice contains citric acid which is not as strong as the acetic acid in alcohol and should be used for daily cleaning.

Although it is soft, it cannot be used near natural rainfall.

Mix the solution:

For daily washing, mix lemon juice and distilled water with a quarter cup of dish soap in a spray bottle.

Spray and clean:

Start on the glass and spray on the solution. Leave for about five minutes, then clean the glass with a sponge or squeegee.

Rinse and dry:

wipe off any solution, or if you use a squeegee, cleaning may not be necessary.

Use a microfiber towel to dry the glass and remove soap and dirt.

Open the windows and make sure you have air.

In a spray bottle, add one tablespoon of non-foaming household ammonia to one quart of warm water.

Spray the stain with water and wait five minutes.

Clean the area with a non-abrasive sponge, then dry it with a microfiber cloth.
